We have all the graphics done, the hacking look stable and has been tested thru the whole case 1, we have even english voice sample already and the literal translation is still going on:
-Case 1: 100%
-Case 2: 99%
-Case 3: 60%
-Profiles: 20%
-Maps: 99%
-Choice Buttons: 99%

As for AAI2, we said many times that the deadline for a patch would be Christmas 2012. Well, it's looking like this year Christmas will be comming much earlier than planned

thanks for the support and I take the occasion to confirm the case 1 patch for Christmas.

In many internet sites has been written that the whole game translation will be releases on this Christmas:
Fake, we are far away from a complete translation.

what is situation at the moment then??
case 1 is ready to be released and case 2 is already being worked on.

Yes, we are not talking loosely about it but it's a plan. The only thing holding the patch back is me and my real life time. We will release a patch for case 1 only.

Why are you holding back the patch and not just release it??
There are 2 bugs still on the game, one is case 1 related (freeze the game on real hardware + DSTWO but work fine on emu) and the other is a matter with all the flashcards that don't support trimmed roms.

So what this mean for us who want to play the patch??
Well, first of all it will be more likely the 26-27 and not the 23-24 for the release.
We will open a thread here so that you all can report errors, problems, typos, etc...
Like i said there are still 2 bugs, i probably know how to fix them but I hope that when i fix them, i will not meet others. This and my real life time will decide what kind of limitations you will get with the patch.
Worst case scenario is that you can only play the patch on the emulator.
Better scenario is that you can play the patch only in some flashcards.
Best scenario, well you know it, play the game on every flashcards.

PATCH RELEASE DELAYED SOME DAYS

A little accident appened (don't worry, nothing lost / deleted / crashed / formatted / stolen / else bad things).
The company i am working is relocating between Christmas and New year and because of lately i was on the road often, i was working on AAI2 on my company laptop.
The little accident that appened is that the laptop was boxed with the other things from the company on the old place and loaded into a truck.
I have to wait till the laptop reappear on the new place before i can release the patch.
I am sorry for the delay and i will keep you updated.

Delayed to end next week

Well, the relocation is not going as planned and my work is killing me.

About the 16.01.2013, actually it's a place holder but if i keep that date as release date, i will at least have 3 days to work on the patch if my plans will not fill up again next week. I had 2 free days on Christmas but else I am working non stop every day since some months and actually sometimes i should split myself in 3. I will be happy as well when the patch is out

Currently, no, no patch.
Big problems ahead. The sort of 'it might be solved in a day, or never at all'.
Yes we might release a patch soon or now, or whatever..it will freeze in many places, and we won't have solved many issues that will, in the end, make the game unplayable for the other cases.

So please keep some more patience and wait for a game that will work when released.

Well, sometime has passed since the last update but here we are again smile.gif
All the wild speculations can stop now.
We did it, we completed the project and we are releasing case 1-5 and not case 1-4 like many was thinking.
When we released case 3, we actually had case 4 almost already done but all the flaming about missed release dates made us go a bit undercover with this kind of informations.

We are planning to make a final release some day with all the corrections you guys will report and when we have done some more cosmetic changes that the most of you will probably not even notice.

I would like to make you notice that we made new ASM hacks in the rom so please recheck if your flashcard/emulator do the same as with the case 1-3patch or if it does something new.
